AGEISS Manages Joint Base San Antonio Encroachment Issues

AGEISS was awarded a 32-month contract to help Joint Base San Antonio manage encroachment affecting its 94 mission partners at Lackland AFB, Randolph AFB, Camp Bullis, and Fort Sam Houston. Solving encroachment issues will enhance year-round training of up to 138,000 servicemen and women annually.

AGEISS teamed with Journi-Tech Corp. and EGC, Inc. to offer unique logistical, business process, and engineering expertise for this effort. Our team is collaborating with Joint Base personnel to develop a new process for compiling, prioritizing, and coordinating infrastructure and environmental projects. The new system will help optimize Joint Base development to meet a complicated array of current and future needs.

AGEISS will help improve space utilization, reduce energy demands, meet environmental conservation requirements inside the base, and mitigate the effects on the military mission of urban growth beyond the installation boundary. The new system will facilitate an installation-wide response to encroachment that was previously administered separately by the four member installations.
