AGEISS Develops Fort Sill Energy Management Tool

Utility managers at U.S. Army Garrison Fort Sill needed a better understanding of energy and water consumption installation-wide. They needed a way to see and evaluate usage patterns and trends to identify waste and support energy and water conservation initiatives. AGEISS met these needs by developing and implementing an Energy Savings Analysis System. This system supports utility management at a fraction of the cost of the Army’s more complex Meter Data Management System.

AGEISS’ Energy Savings Analysis System gives Fort Sill direct access to monthly electric, water, and natural gas meter readings. It facilitates energy and water usage analysis broken down by building and occupant. Users select, view, and print usage reports and trend analyses to identify and capitalize on energy savings opportunities. The system also allows managers to compare the usage of any tenant to that of other user groups of any size and for any time period. It presents information graphically in terms of dollars, use intensity, and usage. This robust system gives Fort Sill definitive data to support specific, effective energy and water conservation measures.
