AGEISS Completes Solar Farm Development

AGEISS has completed development of a 4.5MW solar farm facility near Baltimore, MD.  The one-year project produces enough renewable power to serve 418 homes. AGEISS provided financing, coordination, and management of the development, construction, testing, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of the system.

The project uses undeveloped agricultural land in an area of low environmental sensitivity to reduce the cost of power to residential and school district customers. It reduces greenhouse gas emissions and improves the security of the energy supply in the area. The project’s peak power output matches peak demand for its customers.

Construction completion is just the beginning of a two-decade project that includes operation, maintenance, security, and low-carbon energy production at the site. AGEISS partnered with a renewable energy developer and other investors to deliver low-cost, reliable, renewable energy under 20-year power purchase  and interconnect agreements.
