AGEISS Begins DoD Mentor-Protégé Technology Project

AGEISS, protégé EGC, Inc., and the Water Resources Research Institute at New Mexico State University are approved to begin developing technology that will help DoD assess water security as an increasingly important planning concern at the installation, command, and enterprise levels. We will work with the US Army Corps of Engineers Environmental Research and Development Center and the Army Installation Management Command to develop and test the technology.

The technology will help DoD provide high-quality fresh water for mission sustainment now and in the future. It will improve readiness and resilience where diminishing water supplies and increasing agricultural, industrial, and community demands can affect installation operational costs and community relations.

AGEISS and New Mexico State have partnered before to assist DoD with planning tools that inform decision making on critical installation operation issues, winning a Nunn-Perry award for our work.
